Filed under: Friday Night Project, SBC-Encounter, SBC-Main Church, Years 8- 14

Just a quick heads up to let you all know that this Sunday night there will be a Youth service & Prayer Event at SBC, with worship led by one of the youth bands, a talk and tea and coffee afterwards. Following the service we will be running our Prayer Event, which encourages all the youth, their parents, and any other people from the church (of whatever age!) to join with us in prayer for the youth work and its impact on peoples’ lives both inside and outside of the church!

It is planned that the service should end around 8pm (ish) and tea and coffee will be available until 8.45, when the prayer event will begin…

Hope to see you there! If you are part of another church and can’t make it - we hope you have a great night too & we will see you next Week (2nd Nov) at Encounter “Friday Night Project”

Soul Survivor is coming to Belfast! Again! Don’t be scared, you don’t owe them money or anything, they just figured to pop in for a visit. Mike Pilavachi and the gang are off around the UK in October secretly hoping to find the best curry house in the country (and to take Soul Survivor out of the confines of sunny Watford).

They will be bringing the familiar mix of worship and teaching to Belfast, so make sure you get along and come to say ‘hello’. They are also going to be joined by Andy Hawthorne (The Message) and Roy Crowne (YFC) to look a little more at the Hope 08 year of mission. This is where churches across the country are planning loads of ways in which they can introduce their community’s to Jesus. (Encounter is signed up to the Hope 08 initiative and is currently working on a years mission programme in which we can introduce our community to Jesus.)

And the best way to start? Get along to the Belfast venue to see what’s going down…

Date:         Saturday 27th October 2007

Venue:      Willowfield Parish, Belfast

Cost:         £3

Times:      7:00pm – 9:30pm
