What’s on at SBYouth

Encounter is excited to be hosting Swedish band ‘Big street m.p.’ as part of their Hope08 initiative. The band released their first record “acoustic kindergarten” in February 2007 and have already received a lot of good feedback for the songs Stay and Mercy remix (radio edit) from a lot of radio stations in the U.K, Australia, California, The Netherlands, Austria and so on. The style is a mix of pop, smooth jazz, west coast music and soul. If you are into these styles you will hear their influences but their debut cd also shows that they have developed their own unique style with blending musicianship. Sam Crawford and band will also be playing so take note and plan to be there.
